What the work is

Short, self-contained tasks over content that has already been scanned and read by machines. You pick one up when you have time, check one specific thing, and say what you found.

Text accuracy review

Machines read the page. You confirm what they read matches what is printed — the places they get Devanagari wrong are rarely the places you would guess.

Chapter structure review

Does the chapter break where the book breaks it? A heading in the wrong place quietly changes what a search returns.

Academic accuracy check

The part only a subject expert can do: is this actually correct, and correct for this grade?

Search quality fix

A question a learner would ask returned the wrong passage. You say why.

What it is not

• You will not be teaching. This is review work on text, not time with a class.
• You will not meet a student. Nothing in this programme puts you in contact with a child, which is why it needs no background check.
• There is no rota and no minimum. A task takes as long as it takes, and you claim one only when you want one.
• This is not paid work. See below — we would rather be plain about that than have you find out later.

What you get

Karma, recorded against your name for every task accepted. It is your own record, visible to you on your contributor page, and the quality of your work is reviewed like anybody else's.
